We can only get fruit when they have enough to stock their own farm stands and sell us their extra, so our supply is very dependent on weather, field, and crop conditions. We work directly with neighborhood and other Massachusetts farms to purchase fresh picked fruit with no middle man. Our Fresh Native fruit flavors are only available when the fruit is in season at local farms. ![]() At Benson's, you can taste the difference! Benson's Ice Cream is a specialty ice cream unlike what you can get at the grocery store or most average scoop shops. Our ice cream base is specially crafted for us by Bliss Dairy with local cream and made with pure cane sugar, not corn syrup. We only add all natural colors or extracts to our products (some add-ins we purchase contain artificial colors and flavors - see our menu page for more information). We strive to find the best ingredients and are constantly seeking out local, natural, and high quality add-ins to make our ice cream better. We make artisanal, handcrafted, super premium ice cream the way our family has been doing do for generations.
